It's a Wonderful Life!
I left my job in January to simplify my life and persue a craft artist's lifestyle and hope to eventually make a living at it. I'll share few things that I'm currently working on and tell you about myself a little at a time, I'm fifty two years old there's a lot to tell.
I would enjoy your comments and questions as well as any compliments, construtive criticism or suggestions. As I tell my friends, when I ask for advice, or ask them to critique my work it doesn't mean tell me what to do. It means I value your opinion and suggestions, will consider them and take them to heart.
First I want to introduce you to Sophie. Every morning I get on the computor to check my email , news and my ebay sales. ( See My Ebay Store Collage Cards link at right ).
She keeps me company. Actually she sleeps in my chair and I often have to move her to sit at the computor. She does come running whenever I sit down at the computor because I usually pet her and she likes that.
I got Sophie at the pound several months ago. She's a two year old blue and cream calico. She was pet of the month in the local newspaper. Not much info in the ad. Not even what sex she was. So I called. They told me she was female. That was basically all I needed to know.
I have a male tiger cat Chester. He's extremely friendly and social. He likes people and other animals but I wasn't sure how he would take to another male cat in the house.
I took the cage in showed the clerk the ad and said that was the cat I wanted. He ask me if I wanted to see her and I told him no that she needed a home and I was going to give her one.
Sophie is a good cat but she is quite tempormental. If she doesn't want you touching her she will growl at you. It's probably a good thing I didn't see her before I commited to taking her because if she had growled at me I may have had second thoughts.
It took her a little while to get used to the dogs and me but she's adjusted quite nicely and now she is my computor companion.
